Roman Candy Rum Strawberry

Strawberry is one of the most difficult flavors to mix and achieve the perfect flavor, especially in rum. But…we did it!

The Ada

1.5 oz. Roman Candy Strawberry rum
1/4 oz. lime juice
Ginger beer

Combine rum and lime juice in a shaker with ice, shake and pour into copper mug, and top off with ginger beer. Garnish with a twist of lime.

The Rosie

2 oz. Pineapple juice
1 oz. Orange juice
1 oz. Strawberry Roman Candy Rum
Splash of grenadine

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Pour into cocktail glass over ice.

Sidewalk Side
This cocktail is the perfect addition to any Mardi Gras festivity, be it a ball, a float party, or while catching some beads on the sidewalk side!

1 oz. Roman Candy Rum Strawberry
2 oz. Fest Blaze (Southern Peach Ginger Ale)
1 oz. Club soda
Splash of lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail glass, or a large thermos if your headed out to the parade route, with ice and stir. Enjoy!

Strawberry Hurricane

1 oz Roman Candy Rum Strawberry
1 oz dark rum
.5 oz lemon juice
1 oz orange juice
1 oz strawberry hibiscus passionfruit syrup
Splash cherry grenadine

Mix all ingredients together in a shaker, shake and pour over ice.

Election Day Punch (single serving)
This one will definitely turn you into a politician….one of these…and you’ll promise everybody….everything.

1 part soda water
2 parts Brandy
1 part Roman Candy Strawberry Rum
1 part Bourbon
Juice of One Orange
¼ Large Lemon
Raspberries or blueberries

Mix all ingredients in a large punch bowl. Keep it chilled!

Centennial Toast Punch
We designed this one around the 100 year anniversary of the Roman Chewing Candy. Does well as punch, too! Outstanding as a Martini as well.

2 oz. Lemonade
1 oz. Roman Candy Strawberry Rum
1 oz. Rose Champagne

As a cocktail / Martini:

Mix Rum and Lemonade in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into cocktail glass with ice, or     without for a Martini. Top off with Champagne. Garnish with strawberry fruit (optional).

As a punch for large party or quantities:

1 part lemonade (refrigerated)
1 part Roman Candy Strawberry Rum
1 part Rose Champagne (refrigerated)
1 cup frozen strawberries
Mix lemonade and rum together into a large punch bowl stirring gently, then add champagne and fruit. Serve in individual cocktail glass.

Our good friend, Rose at Camellia Café in Abita Springs designed this cocktail. Easy to make, very good, and great for parties!

Roman Candy Strawberry Rum
Pineapple Juice
Orange Juice
Cherry Juice

Add equal parts of Roman Candy Strawberry Rum, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice and cherry Juice (not Grenadine) into a glass over ice. Stir and serve.

Summer Love

2 oz Roman Candy Strawberry
2-4 Muddled watermelon chunks
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup

Muddle watermelon with rum in shaker. Add rest of ingredients and ice. Shake and strain well into a martini glass. Garnish with watermelon slice.
